GLASS RACK LOAD CAPACITY | GRACK MODEL GUIDE
A “2-ton glass rack” label can hide major differences. Grack load ratings and shipping quantities must be read by opportunity number, rack geometry, and handling configuration—not copied from one model to another.
Searching for glass rack load capacity or an L-frame rack rated at 2000 kg? Start by rejecting the “one number fits all” shortcut. Grack is a reusable L-shape glass holding rack for plant storage, line-side transfer, truck loading, jobsite handling, and empty-rack returns. Those jobs do not create one universal rating: rack length, base depth, tube arrangement, reinforcement, self-weight, glass center of gravity, and handling method all change the safe project specification.
The practical rule is simple: match the opportunity number to its approved load and packing record. A 2500 kg rack is not evidence that every Grack carries 2500 kg, and a 2000 kg description must not be copied onto a smaller frame. The following figures are model-specific snapshots for selection, quotation, and logistics planning; they are not interchangeable product claims.
Why the load rating must stay attached to the model
For the verified Grack snapshots, opportunity 10777 is 750 kg at 1200 × 900 × 1200 mm; 10895 is 800 kg at 1180 × 600 × 1155 mm; 14792 is 2000 kg at 2000 × 1300 × 1300 mm; 15725 single-side is 2500 kg at 1800 × 950 × 1600 mm; 15742 is 1000 kg at 2400 × 750 × 1200 mm; and the 05205 Canada configuration is rated not more than 2000 kg at 1600 × 950 × 1600 mm. The 05205 build also records reinforced joints, a raised angle, a fully welded forklift entrance, and rubber protection mechanically fixed with screws. These details explain why “2 tonnes” is not a safe substitute for a model number.

Container quantity is a geometry calculation, not a capacity shortcut
Load capacity answers how much approved glass a rack can carry. Container quantity answers how the empty or loaded rack physically fits after accounting for outside dimensions, nesting or inverted stacking, orientation, aisle clearance, packing method, and container type. The records show the difference: 10777 is documented at about 100 units on a 9.6 m flatbed, not as a universal container count; 10895 records 250 units in a 40HQ for its project; 14792 records 33 units in a 20GP and 78 in a 40HQ; and 15725 single-side records 24 units in a 20GP and 84 in a 40HQ. No common cabinet quantity should be assigned to 15742 or 05205 without the final loading plan. Even within 15725, the double-side version is 1800 × 1150 × 1620 mm and has a different self-weight and accessory configuration, so its logistics result cannot be copied from the single-side version.
Choose handling options after the operating interface is defined
For frequent movement across a smooth plant floor, casters may be a useful project option, but the wheel layout, floor condition, payload, braking method, and transfer route must be confirmed against the selected model. Casters do not automatically increase the rack’s load rating. For outdoor, wet, or corrosive environments, ask whether a hot-dip galvanized finish is appropriate for the project instead of assuming that a powder-coated specification or an existing model rating carries over unchanged. Finish, casters, retaining bars, tie-down points, logo, and rubber details are project variables. Grack’s standard engineering logic remains model-specific: Q235 carbon steel, full-seam welding at key load-bearing joints, and screw-fixed EPDM or PU steel-core rubber protection where specified. Forklift width, pallet-jack clearance, crane lifting points, and glass loading angle still require an equipment and site check.

Model-specific checks before you request a Grack quote
- State the opportunity or model number first: 10777, 10895, 14792, 15725, 15742, and 05205 are separate references with separate load limits.
- Give the glass payload, sheet dimensions, center of gravity, loading angle, separators, retaining bars, and tie-down needs; do not use a single 2-ton or 2.5-ton label for mixed inventory.
- Request a packing plan by model and container: confirm whether the record is for a 9.6 m flatbed, 20GP, 40HQ, loaded racks, or nested empty returns.
- Confirm the handling interface and environment: forklift or pallet jack dimensions, crane points, floor conditions, caster need, powder coating or hot-dip galvanizing, and any compatibility limits with older rack inventory.
