Mfence | Precision component containment
Galvanized pallet collar containment for factory precision components: a rigid mesh enclosure that keeps loaded bins constrained, visible for inventory checks, and accessible without dismantling the stack.
In a precision-component factory, the difficult unit is often not the part itself but the moving load of returnable bins around it. Work-in-process trays may wait beside a production line, move through an internal warehouse, and pass between forklifts, pallet trucks, and operators. If the bins are left on an open pallet, one impact can shift a load, hide a missing batch, or damage a component that was already finished.
Mfence turns the pallet into a defined logistics unit. Its pallet fence clips onto the pallet and forms a rigid galvanized steel mesh shell around the loaded containers. That changes containment from a temporary wrapping task into a reusable structure for WIP storage, line-side parts feeding, and controlled warehouse storage.
Why open pallets and wrapping lose control of precision loads
Stretch wrap and strapping can hold a unit together, but they do not create a rigid perimeter. Film can tear during forklift handling; straps can loosen after repeated movement; corrugated protection can block the view of the load and create extra disposal work. An open pallet also gives small trays room to slide or fall when a unit is turned, stacked, or placed beside another production line. For factories managing several part numbers, the result is more than untidy storage: it makes inventory checks slower and weakens batch control. The Mfence approach uses a pallet-to-container conversion instead. The four-sided wire enclosure constrains the bins while leaving the top open for loading and the mesh visible for quick visual checks.

A rigid, visible shell matched to factory handling
The documented Mfence configuration uses Q235 steel with a galvanized finish, a 40×40 rectangular tube frame, and welded wire mesh. The standard 1100×1100 footprint and 1000mm effective height create a clear containment zone around palletized precision-component bins. A 4mm wire diameter and 100×100 mesh opening provide a defined barrier without turning the load into a blind box. The bottomless design keeps the pallet as the load-bearing base, while clip-on assembly avoids a tool-heavy installation step. Stacking feet, double hinges, and four-way fork entry support repeatable positioning during forklift handling and stacked transport. In practical terms, the rigid frame helps buffer incidental contact, while the open mesh lets an operator identify container locations and batch labels without unwrapping the unit.
Controlled access without unloading the stack
Containment should not make replenishment slower. Where the process requires frequent access, Mfence can be specified with a 400mm half-opening door. An operator can reach selected containers from the side instead of removing the collar or unloading the pallet. The access feature is especially useful for line-side parts feeding and WIP storage, where a protected unit may need several small withdrawals during a shift. When the load is empty, the foldable or collapsible frame can be folded flat to the documented folded size of 2300×1100×140mm. At approximately 47–48kg self weight and with two-layer stacking capability, the returnable metal collar supports compact empty storage and lower empty-return volume.

What to specify for precision-component containment
- For a rigid external boundary, specify the galvanized Q235 frame, 40×40 rectangular tubes, and welded wire mesh rather than relying on stretch wrap or banding alone.
- For inventory visibility, confirm the 100×100 mesh opening and keep container labels facing the mesh so operators can check part numbers and batches without opening the unit.
- For access during production, select the 400mm half-opening door and use the collar as a line-side parts feeding or WIP storage enclosure.
- For return logistics, use the foldable frame, 1100×1100 pallet footprint, two-layer stacking, and folded 2300×1100×140mm profile to reduce empty-return volume.
